Foxx Life Sciences’ leakproof spigot features two flow rates, and can be locked in the open position for continuous flow. The spigot design also features a positive hard stop to prevent over-tightening which can damage the seal. The spigot opening features 5/8" and 3/4" hose barbs for tube attachments, as well as an internal luer taper to fit a male barb adapter. The leakproof VersaBarbs provide bottom connection options for any standard carboy with a spigot. VersaBarbs are interchangeable and come in a ¼”, 3/8”, ½”, and ¾” hose barb sizes to allow easy customization of the threaded spigot opening. Both the spigot and VersaBarbs come with a platinum-cured silicone gasket and are molded from fully autoclavable Polypropylene. The recommended autoclaving cycle is 20 minutes at 15 PSI and 121°C.

Foxx Life Sciences’ Autofil Bottle-Top Filtration Systems are disposable, sterile, vacuum operated systems for the sterile preparation of buffers, tissue culture media, microbiological media, and other biological fluids. Systems are available with asymmetric 0.22 µm (sterilization grade) and 0.45 µm (clarification grade) PES membranes. The complete system is composed of a polystyrene filter funnel and receiver bottle, a SECUREgrasp cap, and a vacuum hose adapter. Systems with 15 mL and 50 mL polypropylene centrifuge tubes are also available. Filtration funnels are compatible with the patented Autofil pedestal, a cradle ring for use with existing lab stands, and vacuum hose adapters. All components are USP Class VI, FDA grade, and are conveniently sold gamma-sterilized. Foxx Life Sciences’ Autofil™ disposable laboratory storage bottles have been designed specifically for Life Science researchers to store common laboratory solutions such as tissue culture media, serum, and buffers. The polycarbonate bottles are highly transparent, shatterproof, and have good alcohol resistance. They are available radiation sterilized and rated to withstand three autoclave cycles. Each Autofil™ bottle has features that improve the handling of the bottle, especially when the bottle is wet. The bottle itself has a sloped design that improves stability when placed on the work surface. The narrow bottle shoulder, combined with the molded finger grips, improves the ability to securely grip the bottle with gloved hands. The patented SECUREgrasp™ bottle cap enables easy handling and carrying of the bottle. This innovative cap also allows for easy uncapping, tightening and bottle stacking, and provides a large surface for bottle labeling.
