Wide chemical compatibility Naturally hydrophilic Wide range of pore sizes Recommended for: aqueous, solvent and mobile phase filtration; HPLC sample penetration and solvent filtration; clarification and sterilization Autoclavable pH range: 3-12 Manufactured using a unique impregnation process that results in a filter with uniform pore sizes and consistent flow rates. The impregnation process also eliminates cracking, breaking and distortion when handled or creased. Each filter has excellent dimensional stability even after autoclaving and is completely unaffected by temperatures up to 180°C (356°F) or steam sterilization. Since Magna Nylon filters are naturally hydrophilic, wetting agents are not used during manufacture. Extractable levels are less than 0.0015 mg/cm 2 . Binding capacity is 350 µg/cm.

Supplier #: 1214778

GVS LIFE SCIENCES Part No. 1214778
Well-suited for a variety of applications requiring maximum sample recovery Cellulose acetate filter Eliminates possibility of "popping" the filter Designed to sterilize and remove particulates from proteinaceous samples. Due to extremely low holdup volume and the negligible protein-binding characteristics, these syringe filter units are ideal for applications requiring maximum sample recovery from a standard or pre-sterilized syringe filter. Other than the 3 mm size filters, these filters provide bi-directional support of the membrane, allowing sample injection or aspiration. All units are individually labeled with pore size and filter type for quick and easy identification. All units are tested to verify the filter and housing integrity. Connections include female Luer-Lok or Luer-slip inlet and and male Luer slip outlet. The Cameo 25GA and 25GAS (25 mm) syringe filters contain a 1.0 micron borosilicate glass prefilter and an AcetatePlus cellulose acetate membrane filter specifically designed to combine high throughputs and maximum sample recovery when filtering or sterilizing viscous proteinaceous solutions. The prefilter and membrane are contained in the acrylic housing without adhesives.

MicronSep White Packs Available pre-sterilized or autoclavable with gridded surface. Autoclavable filters come in envelopes of 10 filters and 10 absorbent cellulosic pads. The envelopes are designed to withstand normal autoclaving environments and feature an indicator that changes color after successful autoclaving at 121ÝC. Pore size of 0.45 Ým. Sterile packs are packaged the same way but have been pre-sterilized by gamma irradiation. MicronSep 1+PAC (4641K29 to K35) Packaged individually with no separating papers for convenience, handling, economy and integrity, each 1+PAC includes a 47-mm pre-sterilized MicronSep nitrocellulose filter with gridded surface. They are available with or without an absorbent nutrient pad. This all-in-one pack permits individual testing, eliminating the possibility of contaminating a large supply of pre-sterilized filters. Filters, pads and envelopes are pre-sterilized by gamma irradiation. Pore size is 0.45 Ým. MicronSep Nitrocellulose Membrane Filters (4641K36 to K43) MicronSep nitrocellulose (MCE) filters are composed of a mixture of inert cellulose nitrate and cellulose acetate polymers. The uniform microporous structure of these filters provides the fastest flow rates and highest throughputs available in a membrane filter. Because they are biologically inert, MicronSep filters are ideal for a variety of clarification, sterilization and analytical applications such as: microbiological analysis, clarification or sterilization of aqueous solutions, industrial hygiene applications and particulate-matter analysis. Filters, with plain or gridded surface, are autoclavable at 121ÝC.

Membrane Filter Black PCTE 25mm 0.2um

Item #: GVS/1215609
Supplier #: 1215609

For epifluorescence microscopy •Smooth flat surface- micro-organisms are retained in one plane on the surface •Do not stain •Essentially zero autofluorescence •Recommended for: epifluorescence microscopy; water testing; observation of bacteria (0.2-5 µm), yeasts and molds (0.6, 0.8 µm) and spores (5 µm); direct count of micro-organisms •pH range: 4-8 Standard polycarbonate membrane filters are treated by a proprietary irgalan black process to render them dark gray. This essentially eliminates the natural autofluorescence of the membrane. Except for a reduction of transparency, the membranes have the same characteristics as standard Poretics polycarbonate membrane filters. Ideally suited for fluorescence microscopy because: •The surface of the membrane is flat and smooth, assuring that no micro-organisms are captured within the filter structure as with ordinary tortuous pore filters. •They exhibit extremely low non-specific absorption •The elimination of autofluorescence assures high visibility against a non-distracting background
