Accuris™ Instruments offers a range of precision calibration weights that are ideal for calibration of your Accuris lab balances. Each weight meets class F1 tolerance per OIML (International Organization of Legal Metrology) Recommendation R111. Made of highly polished, non-magnetic stainless steel, each calibration weight comes in a protective plastic case. The W1000 series of individual weights come in protective plastic cases with a screw top cover. The W1100-200 Weight Set includes 23 weights ranging from 1mg to 200g and is packaged in a protective carrying case with a set of tweezers, a dust brush and cleaning cloth. Special tweezers, with non-scratching plastic points are also available for proper handling; precision weights should not be touched with bare hands as oils and salts from the skin can stick to the surface of the weights. Class E2 Weight Set Premium Class E2 Weight Set is ideal for calibration of analytical balances with a 0.0001g readability.  Precision manufactured from high purity, 316 stainless steel (7.96kg/dm³), these weights are corrosion resistant with magnetic susceptibility <0.005.  Set includes 6 weights; 100mg to 100g for checking repeatability, corner load, linearity and span.  The weights are supplied in a protective case with tweezers, cleaning cloth and a certificate of verification.

Supplier #: W3300-500

BenchMark Scientific Part No. W3300-500
Accuris Compact balances have been designed to meet the basic needs of academic and research labs requiring weight determinations to increments of 0.01g to 0.1 g. Their reliable and precise weighing technology utilizes gold-plated, ceramic capacitors to determine sample mass. The Compact line includes 6 models covering a wide range of maximum weight capacities. The lower capacity units (120g, 300g, and 500g) are readable to 0.01 g, and come with a draft shield ring to prevent air currents from affecting measurements. These models feature a 4.5 inch diameter, stainless steel weigh pan. The larger capacity models (1000g, 5000g, and 10,000g) do not include the draft shield ring, come with larger weighing pans of 6.3 to 7 inch diameter, and are readable to 0.1g. All balances in the Accuris Compact line offer large, brightly lit LCD panels, and are easy to operate using the intuitive and splash resistant control panel. Different modes allow weight to be displayed in various units: grams, ounces, carats, and simple programs can be used for piece counting, and percent deviation weighing. Leveling feet are located toward the front of the balance for easy access, and a leveling bubble in the control panel is easy to see for quick and simple leveling on the lab bench. The balances can be calibrated using a calibration weight and a few key strokes on the control panel – just select a calibration point in the calibration mode, place the calibration weight onto the weigh pan, and press the "CAL" button. Agarose Tablets, EZ Pack, 500g

Agarose Tablets, EZ Pack, 500g

Item #: BMS/A2505
Supplier #: A2505

BenchMark Scientific Part No. A2505
Eliminates weighing Fast dissolving, just two minutes Environmentally friendly, free from organic solvents Consistent, reproducible gels Enhanced resolution and clarity Researchers trust Agarose LE to meet their electrophoretic needs for a variety of applications. Now the same agarose is available in a convenient, no mess tablet. Agarose LE is refined in an advanced process that excludes the use of organic solvents. The result is a cleaner end product with significantly reduced environmental impact. The agarose can be used for analyses of nucleic acids from 150bp to 6kbp, protein electrophoresis and various blotting protocols. The low EEO of the agarose promotes increased electrophoretic mobility, yielding improved resolution and shorter run times. This also allows macromolecules and larger particles (subcellular fragments, viruses, etc.) to migrate more freely through the gel matrix. The consistently low EEO reduces band distortion (caused by counterflow) that can result from the presence of excessive sulfate-rich negative ions. The quick dissolving EZ Pack tablet contains 0.5g (500mg) of Agarose LE, eliminating the hands-on time and inaccuracies normally associated with weighing. Use of the tablet is not only convenient and cleaner, it also provides better consistency and reproducbilty gel to gel. Gel preparation is simple - add the desired number of tablets to electrophoresis buffer, alow to sit for two minutes and then heat and pour as usual. The resulting gels are highly transparent, have exceptional thermal stability (ensuring safe and easy handling) and exhibit exceptionally low absorption of chemical staining agents. EZ Pack Agarose Tablets are supplied in convenient blister packs for safe, clean dispensing.
