Bench Mixer XLQ w/ Racks

Bench Mixer XLQ w/ Racks

Item #: BMS/BV1010-TST
Supplier #: BV1010-TST

BenchMark Scientific Part No. BV1010-TST
Benchmark’s BenchMixer XLQ has been designed for use in QuEChERS and other sample prep methods. Supplied with racks for 50ml tubes held horizontally and 15ml and 1.5/2.0ml tubes held vertically, it takes the place of traditional manual shaking in these applications. For use with QuEChERS and other sample prep methods Powerful, hands-free shaking/vortexing Pulsing program for interval mixing Supplied with QuEChERS rack starter kit: – 7 x 50ml tubes, held horizontally – 50 x 15ml tubes, held vertically – 50 x 1.5/2.0ml tubes, held vertically Multiple samples can be processed simultaneously in the Benchmixer XLQ’s large capacity racks, saving time and preventing operator fatigue. The vigorous, consistent shaking ensures all samples are exposed to identical conditions within the same batch of samples, as well as between batches. The BenchMixer XLQ creates a true vortex in vertical sample racks by holding the top of the tube stationary while the bottom rotates in a 3.6mm orbit. Time and speed are precisley controlled by the digital microprocessor. A pulse mode allows for more vigorous mixing. Quiet operation, minimal vibration and a long service life are guaranteed by the precisely balanced drive system and powerful motor. Using the BenchMixer XLQ is simple. To load the sample racks, loosen the knobs on the stationary steel rods and raise the top sample plate. One rod is shorter than the other, allowing the plate to be lifted up and swiveled to one side. After samples are loaded, lower the plate into place and tighten the knobs. Select the desired speed and run time on the digital control panel and press start. The BenchMixer XLQ can perform unattended mixing for as little as 1 minute or up to 100 hours. While the BenchMixer XLQ is configured primarily for QuEChERS protocols, additional racks are available to accommodate nearly any type of vessel commonly found in the laboratory (ask for details). Built for heavy-duty use, the instrument carries a 2 year warranty.

MiniCentrifuge MyFuge 6000rpm w/2 Rotor

Item #: BMS/C1008-B
Supplier #: C1008-B

BenchMark Scientific Part No. C1008-B
The MyFuge™ Mini centrifuge is a personal centrifuge that virtually fits in the palm of your hand. Ideal for quick spin downs of microtubes and PCR tubes, the MyFuge is extremely easy to use. Simply close the lid and the rotor instantly reaches 6,000 rpm. Open the lid, and the rotor quickly decelerates to a stop for removing samples. An increased capacity, eight-position microtube rotor is included and comes installed. Also included is a second rotor for 0.2ml PCR tubes and strips which is stored (together with the rotor removal key) in a convenient compartment on the bottom of the centrifuge. When the rotor is not in use, storage in this compartment prevents loss or misplacement of the rotor. Clik-N-Lok™ INSTANT rotor attachment Eight position microtube rotor Storage compartment for PCR rotor & 0.5ml adapters Near silent operation Decelerates in just one second Four position PCR strip rotor

Centrifuge LC-8 w/ 8x15mL Rotor 120V

Centrifuge LC-8 w/ 8x15mL Rotor 120V

Item #: BMS/C3200
Supplier #: C3200

BenchMark Scientific Part No. C3200
Benchmark's LC-8 Series of laboratory centrifuges are uniquely designed to meet a wide range of applications in both the clinical and research laboratory. An eight position rotor is included and designed to directly accept 10mL and 15mL test-tubes (conical or round bottom), while optional adapters are also available for use with all popular sizes of blood collection and culture tubes. Unlike most compact centrifuges in this class, the rotor can be easily removed from the chamber for cleaning. The back-lit, liquid crystal display provides full control over the set run time and rotational speed. The rotational speed can be set/viewed in rpm or rd and acceleration/deceleration levels can be easily adjusted in the advanced settings mode. To ensure safety, the digital microprocessor ensures that the lid has been closed and that the safety lid lock is enagged prior to starting a centrifugation cycle. In addition, an advanced imbalance detection system constantly monitors the balance and vibration, automatically bringing the rotor to a stop if an imbalance is detected.

Balance, Precision 320g x 0.001g 115V

Item #: BMS/W3200-320
Supplier #: W3200-320

BenchMark Scientific Part No. W3200-320
Accuris Precision balances quickly and accurately display sample measurements on a large, backlit LCD screen. Utilizing highly precise, gold plated ceramic capacitance sensors, these balances tare and stabilize quickly and provide reliable weight measurements within 0.001 grams. Six models are available in the Precision Balance range, covering a wide range of maximum capacity requirements. The smaller capacity models (120g, 320g, and 500g) include a glass draft shield with 3 sliding doors for easy access the weighing chamber. These models offer readability to .001g (1mg). The larger capacity models (1200g, 3200g, and 5000g) feature a more traditional top-loading design, come with larger weigh pans and have readability to 0.01g. All models feature a control panel with a large, bright back-lit LCD screen that is easy to use and easy to see. The advanced software includes weighing modes for standard weighing, piece counting, percent deviation and also check weighing for component inspection. All Accuris Precision balances can be quickly calibrated in the lab with a few key strokes on the control panel and the use of a calibration weight. Leveling feet on the front are easy to access, and a leveling bubble integrated into the control panel aids in the leveling process. Readablity to 0.001g Easy in-lab calibration feature RS232 port for data output to a computer or printer Multiple mode options (standard weighing, count mode, & percent)

Balance, Accuris™ Compact 500g x 0.01g

Item #: BMS/W3300-500
Supplier #: W3300-500

BenchMark Scientific Part No. W3300-500
Accuris Compact balances have been designed to meet the basic needs of academic and research labs requiring weight determinations to increments of 0.01g to 0.1 g. Their reliable and precise weighing technology utilizes gold-plated, ceramic capacitors to determine sample mass. The Compact line includes 6 models covering a wide range of maximum weight capacities. The lower capacity units (120g, 300g, and 500g) are readable to 0.01 g, and come with a draft shield ring to prevent air currents from affecting measurements. These models feature a 4.5 inch diameter, stainless steel weigh pan. The larger capacity models (1000g, 5000g, and 10,000g) do not include the draft shield ring, come with larger weighing pans of 6.3 to 7 inch diameter, and are readable to 0.1g. All balances in the Accuris Compact line offer large, brightly lit LCD panels, and are easy to operate using the intuitive and splash resistant control panel. Different modes allow weight to be displayed in various units: grams, ounces, carats, and simple programs can be used for piece counting, and percent deviation weighing. Leveling feet are located toward the front of the balance for easy access, and a leveling bubble in the control panel is easy to see for quick and simple leveling on the lab bench.
