90mm, 142mm, and 293mm filter diameters Available in type 304ss or 316ss Large Stainless Steel Pressure Filter Holders are offered in various sizes for batch type laboratory filtration or continuous filtration operations using disc media. Advantec holders have been designed to minimizes resistance and maximizes flow rate. Model KS90 is recommended for volumes < 5L. Use model KS142 for volumes < 20 L. Model KS293 is typically used for batches > 20L. Standard Holders are used in-line to filter gases and liquids such as culture media, solvents, and photoresists. Use our sanitary models for pharmaceutical type applications. The holder features a PTFE coated photoetched stainless steel filter support screen for autoclaving with filter in place. Unit comes standard with silicone o-ring and PTFE gasket. Additional FPM or FEP o-rings are available. Seal membrane by hand tightening locking wing nuts. Advantec offers a complete family of large pressure holders and pressure vessels. Please Note: ALL Advantec items have a maximum 48 hour cancellation window. Sanitary connections can be completely disassembled for thorough cleaning. Clean holder design minimizes resistance and maximizes flow rate. Use in-line to ultraclean or sterilize gases or liquids such as blood fractions, pure water, and pharmaceutical applications. The holder features a PTFE coated photoetched stainless steel filter support screen for autoclaving with filter in place. Fittings are 1.5" with tri-clamp to 14.3mm hose barb. Unit comes standard with silicone o-ring. Other materials are available. Seal membrane by hand tightening locking wing nuts. Advantec offers a complete family of large pressure holders and pressure vessels. Holders are available with PTFE coating by special order. The Acrylic(AC) and Polypropylene(PP) housing materials are high purity and pigment-free. Adhesives are not used so you can be assured filtrates will not be adulterated. Filter small volumes  Ground glass connection points Funnel, Base, and Flask Borosilicate glass filter holder assemblies for the microanalysis of liquids for biological or particulate contamination under vacuum. The All-Glass design restricts contact with reactive surfaces such as steel or rubber to minimize contamination of filtrate. The 15mL filtration funnel mounts on the 250mL filter flask using a 19/22 ground glass joint. The outlet tube of the support base is positioned below the the side arm connection of the the flask to prevent aspiration of the sample into the vacuum line. The anodized aluminum clamp secures the 25mm membrane between the funnel and base. While the sintered glass frit support base can be used for general filtration, the 304 stainless steel screen(w/ PTFE gasket) is recommended for viscous or proteinaceous solutions to maximize flow rate and the screen ensures particles will not be shed into the filtrate.
